Cable is dating the Cuckoos…all five of them, but particularly Esme this issue.
Which is fun because there was some set up for this in a comic I read the other day…where…was it Wolverine…used the Cuckoos to persuade Quentin Quire to do something for him in return for setting them up with Cable. I probably read too many comics…
Anyway, I digress, but…no…I don’t really, because this is exactly the sort of fun little Easter egg I expect from reading ALL of the X-books. Anyway, where this book shines is in the fun moments…the bits with the Cuckoos…the bit with Scott and Emma. The actually plot centres around a kidnapped baby…and there are some Space Knights too…and honestly I don’t really know what’s going on yet…but I’m definitely enjoying it.
And Nate and Esme smooched.
