X-Force (2019-) #11 by Benjamin Percy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a welcome return to form after the dip in quality in the last issue.
Let’s get one thing out of the way first, if you were expecting to see Colossus fight Omega Red in this comic after looking at the cover, you’re going to be disappointed. This does not happen. Omega Red isn’t in this.
This is ostensibly about the fact that no matter how hard he tries to live a simple life, Piotr keeps getting dragged back into the world of the X-Men. It’s also about little red people hidden inside bigger red people. And littler red people hidden inside those little red people.
Oh, and it’s about how Quentin Quire just can’t catch a break.
I have no idea what the text bits about the wine cellar were about, but I still enjoyed them. They were a MUCH better use of those text bits in the X-books right now than last issue.
Finally, I think I know who that was at the end, but I could be wrong…
