A solid ending to an excellent event, but endings are almost always a little unsatisfying.
It seems fitting that Black Panther got to shine in this, given the untimely passing of Chadwick Boseman. A strange twist of fate, given that this would have been written and drawn long before. But still, it made me smile.
Pretty much everything was tied up and resolved well, with perhaps the exception of the execution of Tony Stark’s plan…as it wasn’t made entirely clear if he actually did anything or if the Human Torch et al were the ones who stopped the Sun exploding. Or maybe I missed a page?
But overall this was great stuff, and while I’m only giving this issue 4 out of 5, the series gets a 5 out of 5 from me. Excellent writing, stunning art, what more could you ask for?
