Captain Marvel (2019-) #21 by Kelly Thompson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I don’t know where I got the idea that someone was going to die in this issue…maybe it was the coffin on the cover? However, this comic remains fatality free. Other than some plant people, of course.
This issue is more action packed than the previous few issues, which sadly reduces the opportunity for humorous exchanges between the characters, although Jessica Drew is as quippy as ever.
It’s a lot of fun, as has this whole arc been, and I hope that Lauri-Ell becomes as important a figure in the Marvel Universe as she deserves to be.
