A thoroughly enjoyable romp!

Steeler, Clutch and Breaker are cleaning the Mobat ready for a parade, and Scarlett is less than impressed. But they explain how amazing it is, of course, and that General Flagg intends to include it an upcomign parade to prove to the top brass that it looks like any other tank and that Cobra won’t be able to tell that it’s anything special. Of course Cobra get wind of these plans and attack, leading to a chase through the streets of Manhatten and through Central Park, until our heroes discover that Cobra Commander himself is in Cobra’s secret base…under the parade stand in which all of the top brass are standing!

It’s silly. There are plot holes you could drive…well…a tank through…but it’s fun! Don Perlin’s great art and Larry Hama’s fun script carry the whole absurd episode through with such joy that you never really care that it all intensely silly. Or maybe that’s exactly what’s so good about it?
