This is great stuff from Slott et al.
This caps off Empyre in a really lovely way, and proves that my concerns that Jo-Venn and N’Kalla would get lost and forgotten about amidst the action were unfounded, as they’re officially adopted by Ben and Alicia. A very welcome addition to Marvel’s first family! It’s almost enough to get me reading FF again! But I’m already reading too much…
This felt like a fitting ending, but also a springboard into future stories. It definitely feels like Emprye is just the start of something bigger.
