I complained last issue that it was all set up that was clearly building up to something…

…and boy does that pay off in this issue!

I didn’t think the upcoming Phoenix related storyline in Avengers was going to grow out of the Age of Konshu, but I should have known Jason Aaron, and this Avengers run, better than that.

Everything so far has been building up to this. The seeds have all been sown from the very start of this run and, honestly, it’s magnificent.
